The information system for the administration of translation services is maintained by specialists of the Reception and Integration Agency. The system is accessible both to third-country nationals – in a language they understand – and to representatives of state institutions.

Translation services can be ordered by users with the following roles in the translation services administration information system: • service recipients (RG) registered in the system; • service customers (e.g. state institutions and their representatives); • employees administering the information system of the Reception and Integration Agency (Agency).

Asylum seekers and persons who have been granted asylum can register in the system and order and receive translation services.

The clients of the services may be state institutions and their representatives who require translation services.

You can choose between written translation, live interpretation, telephone interpretation, or video conference translation.

Currently, you can order translation services in 24 different languages: Arabic, Kurmanji, Tajik, Nuer, Ukrainian, Turkish, Persian, Sorani, English, Somali, Spanish, Sinhala, French, Badini, Lithuanian, Dari, Urdu, Ngali, Kurdish, Tigrinya, Tamil, Russian, Hindi and Azerbaijani. By selecting one of the specified languages on the website, information in the Translation Services Administration System and SMS messages will be displayed in the selected language.

Translation services are provided in the following institutions, if necessary, in asylum and integration procedures and other areas: • Migration Department; • Courts (judicial proceedings related to immigration proceedings); • Educational institutions; • Employment Service; • Health care institutions; • Municipalities; • Aliens Registration Centre.

A maximum of 20 A4 pages can be ordered per translation order. The following personal documents are translated: • personal documents; • birth certificate; • marriage certificate; • divorce documents; • guardianship documents; • death certificate; • documents proving education; • licenses (documents confirming qualifications); • health certificates; • procedural court documents; • asylum procedure documents.

Log in to your account and click the Order Translation button . Select the type of translation service by phone/oral/written or video conference call. Select the language, date and time, purpose of the service and fill in the other fields marked with an asterisk (required). If the translation is selected in writing, attach the documents you are requesting to be translated. If the translation services are needed urgently, check the box Urgent? . When all required fields and notes (optional) are filled in, click the Save and Send button , and you will see your order information in the next window. After reviewing whether the order information is correct, click the Submit button .

You can cancel an ordered translation service by clicking My Orders in your profile, selecting the order you want to cancel, and clicking the Cancel button.

Yes, it is possible to order an urgent translation for any type of translation service.

Yes, there is a limit for translation services. You can check the limit and how many translation services remain unused by logging into your account.

If the call is disconnected during a meeting and before the reserved time has expired, the call can be restarted. The call time is added up.

Yes, translation services are available throughout Lithuania.
